Since the beginning of the suit Diamond has claimed that the Rio is only a playback device with no recording function and therefore doesn't fall under the realm of the AHRA.
Diamond's latest response denies all allegations in the RIAA's complaint and has asked for threefold compensation for damages an order to halt the RIAA's conduct and an order that would award Diamond the cost of the suit.
