Most core gameplay in FFXIV rewards you with a small amount of Gil. Quests give it, dungeons and raid boss chests often have it, and even running the Duty Roulettes rewards you with it.

Selling your loot to other players on the Market Board or desynthesizing it for crafting parts also nets you a good amount of Gil.

Gathering Classes

Gil is a vital in-game currency used to purchase important gear and items. However, amassing a substantial amount of Gil can be challenging and time consuming. Fortunately, there are a number of methods for players to efficiently earn significant amounts of Gil in FFXIV. From completing quests to undercutting on the Market Board, there are a variety of techniques to ensure players can make the most of their time and money.

It is also important for crafters and gatherers to stay up-to-date with new content as soon as it is released. This can include a number of different gear sets, furniture, and glamour pieces that will sell for a premium when they are first available.

Additionally, daily and weekly hunts can be a great way to supplement a gathering class’ income. While these activities will not earn an immense amount of Gil, they are a convenient and quick way to earn some extra income. This can help offset the teleportation costs associated with gathering, especially when base materials like ore are very cheap on the market.

Raids and Dungeons

New content in any MMO is always a great way to earn Gil, especially when it comes to dungeons and raids. The recent 6.3 update introduced a number of new raids and dungeons that provide great rewards, including high-level gear, furnishings, and even unique dyes that sell for a premium.

This is not a fast or easy way to earn Gil, however, as the time-to-Gil investment can be quite large depending on the raid and the difficulty. Alliance raids typically offer the best rewards, but they also take a long time to complete, and are subject to party wipes. For more detail about MMOGAH coupon click here.

Other ways to earn a steady stream of Gil include doing MSQ and completing leve quests, as well as killing monsters and selling their materials on the Market Board (through retainers). Treasure maps also yield a good amount of Gil and drop items that crafters need. This is a good gil making method for those that don’t want to spend too much time on gathering or crafting.

Treasure Maps

Despite the fact that players can easily earn enough in-game currency to afford almost any item they want in FFXIV, many of them still seek a way to make a lot more. This guide will tell gamers how to make the most of a system that's easy to forget since it doesn't appear in the Duty Finder or Challenge Log -- Treasure Maps.

Essentially, these are special maps that spawn random enemies, some of which drop treasure chests with high-value material that's then sold in the Market Board. While completing these takes quite a bit of time, especially if you want to do them at the highest level, you can make a significant amount of Gil just by doing them regularly.

Players who don't want to risk using their "Leve Allowances" can also use the new Featured Instance in Old Sharlayan to passively accrue tens of thousands of Gil every week. This is one of the best ways to make money in FFXIV for players who aren't looking to spend too much time on the game.

Selling Items

A good amount of Gil can be gained through the selling of items to other players. This can include the furnishing of player housing, crafting materials that go into crafting gear and food and the sale of cosmetics like glamour, minions and mounts.

It is important to note that if you are a gatherer or crafter and are actively selling items on the Market Board, be sure not to undercut your competitors. Selling an item for one Gil lower cuts into your own profits and encourages other players to sell it even more cheaply which ultimately affects the overall price of the item on the Market Board.

Likewise, completing Beast Tribe quests and Guildleves and selling the Tomestones for unique gear and furniture is another way to make some quick money. However, the availability of these items may change depending on when the new raid and variant dungeons are released. Keeping this in mind, it is important to always look at methods on a server-wide basis and understand that each server has different prices and market conditions.
