In the Bible, Jesus tells us to take no thought for tomorrow; that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He emphasizes living in today's moment, in the eternal Now. He gives us the main element to peace and eternal life. These are the Heralds of Eternity!

God is pure love, and God wants to reveal pure love where everything is shared. “In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all your brothers is remembered with Him.” (T-15.VI.8) In the holy instant, we remember God. There is no concealment, and you will find no private thoughts, no worries or concerns for future years, or regrets about the past. It is an event of perfect peace. It's this that Jesus is calling us into.

We're asked to forget about our ideas about time. We may have believed that something was missing previously, and we took action to try and correct it, hoping for a much better future. a course in miracles mp3 soundcloud But Jesus is saying, “Don't hope for a much better future. The future is really a trick! Now could be all there is.”

And so we are now asking ourselves the question, what's it all about? What is the point with this world and for my relationships? What is the idea of time and space? Jesus tells us that today's moment could be the point. Our vocation of healing (of the mind) could be the point.

How Practical Is This?

Jesus and the Holy Spirit have a plan for every single and everyone of us. It is very precise, and it's individualized. In each moment, they instruct us where to go, what direction to go, and who to be with. They instruct us what books to read, what movies to view, what to consume, and what to not eat. We receive instructions on the best way to get our daily bread, in terms of inspiration and also food, clothing, shelter. The Spirit is so practical. When we give our mind to living and experiencing the holy instant, the Holy Spirit provides everything we truly need in Earth terms.

When you will find plans to be made, we will be told of them. “You will need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only purpose that you'd fulfill.” (T-20.IV.8) In lesson 135, he tells us:

“A healed mind does not plan. It carries out the plans so it receives through playing wisdom that's not its own. It waits until it has been taught what should be achieved, and then proceeds to do it. It does not depend upon itself for anything except its adequacy to fulfill the plans assigned to it. It is secure in certainty that obstacles can not impede its progress to accomplishment of any goal that serves the higher plan established for the nice of everyone.” (W-pI.135.11)
