NFL Playoffs 2017 AFC & NFC Wild Card games Live Stream

Welcome to the postseason, NFL fans.

With 17 regular season weeks in the books, the best two back-to-back weekends of pro football start now. First up: Wild card weekend, featuring four intriguing head-to-head battles--three of which are rematches to 2016 games.

Consider this a one-stop shop guide to picking every (or at least the majority) game correctly:

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans (-3.5)

Saturday, Jan. 7, 4:35 p.m. EST

Imagine what this game could have been: Derek Carr, fresh off of finishing a MVP-caliber season vs. $72M ex-Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler. Potentially, two of the up-and-coming young signal callers in the sport. Instead? Carr is hurt and Osweiler barely looks like a starter. Give me the Raiders to rally behind better star players on each side of the ball--aside from the quarterback position, of course. THE PICK: Raiders.

Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks (-8)

Saturday, Jan. 7, 8:15 p.m. EST

This line is based on reputation, right? Without Earl Thomas, the Seahawks defense is vulnerable on the back end and Matthew Stafford is coming off his best all-around year. Detroit is stumbling in, but Seattle doesn't look like a juggernaut any longer. The favorite will win, but expect a close one late. THE PICK: Lions.

Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers (-10)

Sunday, Jan. 8, 1:05 p.m. EST

Miami deserves credit for rallying to a 9-2 finish, but this is a tall task without starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The Steelers are rested and ready to make a big run. It starts here. THE PICK: Steelers.

Wild Card weekend primer

New York Giants at Green Bay Packers (-4.5)

Sunday, Jan. 8, 4:40 p.m. EST

Prime time for the best battle of the weekend. Aaron Rodgers (18 TD, 0 INT last seven games) is on fire, but here are two reasons why it's a fool's errand to bet against the combination of New York's defense and playoff Eli Manning:

1. The Giants quarterback has won his last seven playoff games as an underdog.

2. Manning owns as many playoff wins at Lambeau Field as Aaron Rodgers.
