Still, Trinity's invincibility on its Hartford campus gave alumni and fans hope that the team would climb back from a 13-0 halftime hole against Middlebury. It's Family Weekend on campus and new President Joanne Berger-Sweeney is being inaugurated Sunday, so the Trinity community is gathering on campus, and many can't remember utfifas the last football loss on the home field.

Middlebury (4-2) handed Trinity its first loss last season and the Panthers had a swagger from the start of the game. They took a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter, when Matt Milano connected with Matthew Minno on a 28-yard touchdown pass.

Trinity was threatening later in the half, but Middlebury's Dan Pierce intercepted a pass by Henry Foye at the goal line and returned it to the Trinity 29. Four plays later, Milano tossed a 4-yard touchdown pass to Minno.

Starting the second half, Middlebury kicked off from the 50 because www.utfifas.co Trinity was penalized. Devanney and his staff warned his players that an onside kick was likely coming and, sure enough, that's what Middlebury did.
