Although this might not be an excessive amount to be based off of, the previous similar job descriptions at EA did not include Nintendo in the criteria. Madden NFL 13 on Wii U was the last time the series was available on any Nintendo platform. In 2018, EA had said they didn't plan on bringing the series to the Nintendo Switch however the business giant appears to be changing its plans with the hybrid system.

If the theory behind this listing of jobs is accurate, it will represent a change in relation between Electronic Arts and the big N. A lot of franchises will be available on the console's portable version. Apex Legends, a free-to-play battle royale game has been ported to Switch by the company. The Switch Pro is expected to provide 4K graphics and NVIDIA DLSS technology. This could assist in handling more demanding games.

Although it could happen until the release of a brand new Switch version, Madden NFL returning to the Nintendo platform is definitely an important event. It may take a while for it to happen, given that Madden titles debuted in August, and the new Switch will not be released until after the holidays.
