Huawei is china based telecom equipment manufacturer and it has vast experience with deployment of Optical Transport Network (100 Gpbs) systems around the world. This agreement will place Mobilink to some leadership role in efficient usage of optical fiber network and facilitating customers with batter network infrastructure of mobile broadband needs.

Huawei’s SDN IP+Optical solution uses cross-layer traffic visualization, fast cross-layer connection establishment, service-driven automatic resource coordination, and cross-layer service protection. Telefonica and Huawei continues to collaborate in testing fractional laser treatments on a big-scale commercial basis.

The ability of SDN to cut back CAPEX and OPEX is usually a well-known fact with Huawei carrier network, but what Huawei and Telefonica de Peru have inked is ensure it is available using a large scale to be a commercial product. As this gets to be more commonplace, many organisations will likely reconsider just how their networks are made.
