Are You Willing to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there has to be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, that which was it?”



“Trust,” I said.



Consider your daily life because it seems to be these days when it comes to the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So once we discuss the final stage to the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in most of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world. It's a lot like building a big house of cards, stacking using one card following the other. Then a good wind arrives and poof, it's only blown over. a course in miracles authors It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in anything else; dozens of issues that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments.

 

Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It certainly comes down to the essence of who's my buddy? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried any particular one?So you're asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. This is an environment of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the bond between thought and form. His lessons begin with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all the meaning it has for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's talking about thoughts. First He's talking about perception, then about our thoughts, then He returns with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he's trying to melt everything together and show the final veil or stage of awakening, that is trust.



The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there's no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they're all illusions and that they're all equally meaningless. That's precisely the approach to operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with the mind to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What type of things do you spend money on, these days?
