Air conditioning unit and Indoor Air Quality: Achieving Cleaner Air in your home

Indoor air quality and how your air conditioning unit affects it, should be a common concern since the average American uses the majority of their time in their home, office, or other rooms. Indoor air quality is typically 2-4 times more toxified then the outdoor air even with a clean air conditioning filter. In all cities, not just San Antonio, ac technicians can inspect indoor air quality in your home. Air contaminants are published throughout your home because of your ac system. Some of these contaminants include pollen, smoke, chemicals from cleaning products, fungus, dirt and dust, pet dander and other allergens.

Poor indoor air quality can actually affect your health. Everyone behaves to various air contaminants differently. While it may be a huge issue one person, it might not even affect another. Make sure you routinely have your AC cleaned and serviced and that your air ducts are thoroughly cleaned. This ensures that the air is being cleaned by the filter before it enters your home.

Proper setting up is important to any surrounded space. With proper setting up, indoor air quality is greatly improved and dampness is kept low. If indoor dampness is high it can be the perfect reproduction ground for mold. As mentioned earlier, mold is serious problem. Keep dampness from increasing by utilizing exhaust fans during and after you take a shower or when you are cooking on a cooker top. Some Ac units get built in dehumidifiers to take any excess moisture out of the air. During the hot summer months ventilate your home by turning off the air conditioning unit unit and opening windows early in the morning or late at night when it is cool. This will give your home a amount of ticket while maintaining a cool interior. Be sure to turn your air conditioning unit back on before it gets too hot outside so the HVAC system is not struggling to keep your home cool.
