According to Jagex,"our objective is to determine a long-term eyesight for PvP games. Rather than move from 1 release to the next, we want a clear direction for the upcoming few years which may inform how we design material moving ahead." From that statement, we can infer that instead of RS gold constant but directionless changes to the PVP world, they are going to have one huge plan that spans for months. Hopefully, what they are attempting to hatch would be useful in the long run, as PVP is a massive part of the game updates. Heck, some players stay in Old School RuneScape simply for this! In OSRS, something as seemingly small as removing a mini-game could make such a huge change, especially for people that have been making money -- equally in-game and in real life -- this off method. But more significant than this is the revamp of an entire body of material, which will hopefully enhance it.
YouTuber and Twitch streamer Settled climbed to prominence as an Old School RuneScape content founder by recording every step into completing the match most masochistic obstacle: Maxing out all the game's 23 skills in an Ultimate Ironman character. Ultimate Ironman personalities are prohibited from trading and using in-game banks. This usually means that these players can't hoard the substances used to train certain abilities beyond what they can hold in 28 stock spaces- turning an already tough procedure in an incredible slog. What's more, each of these substances must be collected personally because Ironman personalities cannot trade with other players.
After a 7,000-hour trip to max his first Ultimate Ironman personality, Settled chose to"up the ante," in his words, by locking a fresh new Ultimate Ironman character at the relatively small and empty swamp region of RuneScape's massive world map: Morytania. Since Morytania is a comparatively high-level area, even the beginning levels of every ability have proven to be an unbelievable grind.
By way of instance, the only means for Settled to make the first 15 Agility levels would be to attempt to jump across a broken bridge. With a low agility level, there was little chance of him crossing the bridge, so failing was really the only option. Struggling to cross the bridge resulted in buy OSRS gold a gain of just 2 XP as well as carrying a nice amount of damage. Since there's no other method for Swampletics to make agility experience with a minimal level, the only alternative was for him to fail in crossing the bridge over and over again. As he took damage every time he collapsed, he had to interrupt his training by collecting food to cure himself. Reaching Agility level 15 took Settled 11 hours, whereas a normal player would reach this milestone in under an hour.
