In the press conference following the announcement of the Professional Esports Association, Team SoloMid owner Andy Dinh revealed that the teams are collectively bargaining with Twitch and Faceit's Esports Championship Cheap CSGO Skins Series to participate in the league.

However, when asked about collective representation with Turner's ELEAGUE, the PEA denied this - this would suggest that the previous relationships with that league will remain intact.

It's possible that the seven organizations in the PEA could be looking to reduce their schedules for the next year, alongside ECS and the PEA league.

"Some of our players have expressed the concern that they don't have enough time for anything but the game," Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne continued. "So we're very sensitive to the issue as the players are our partners in this. So we're going to be discussing how our schedule is going to work for next year to make sure that they have a good quality of life."

The ramifications of teams collectively working out agreements to participate in leagues cannot be overstated - not only will the teams be able to bargain for a better contract to participate, players on PEA teams will have an advantage as they will have the entire weight of the PEA behind them when it comes to participating in events.
