I used to farm this part of the area while TBC was around but after WoW Tokens was released farming for gold became unproductive because the time that WOW TBC Gold is spent earning the amount of gold and swiping for it are vastly different. It's 87K/hour but you can make the equivalent of 190K gold (NA) with a swipe of $20. The Retail gold is able to be exchanged for Classic in the event that it's not in conflict with ToS.
This assumes that the person is in the business of mining gold. There is no possibility that it is trying to get a token so they can continue to play for free (yes there are ways to make money, but what do you think?)
There is 15 years of content in WoW and still an excellent community. I would suggest you give it your best shot, enjoy the time and effort that went into the game and make your own opinions. It's all about the adventure that you go through for yourself, not necessarily the opinions of other players. I began playing legion and was shocked by how much there was. The game isn't a joke and it's not that due to their greed, Blizzard has kind of destroyed a great thing.
What MMO games require is something that will keep players involved and interested in the "world" they play in more than simply making numbers go up by in order to get new equipment that is obsolete or irrelevant to obtain new gear which will make the numbers rise until it is obsolete to infinity.
Because it was fun and encouraged by game story, players would launch large-scale raids against cities which were not under the honor system prior to release. Today, Blizzard has taught its players to avoid doing nothing unless they're being rewarded with a reward, and then do the bare minimum required.
If they could make the numbers go up to the point that they needed to squish them to be understandable again, it was a pretty clear sign that the game had pretty much run its course.
I've just started ff14 and it's so far good. I was a big fan of FF in the past but my interest has diminished in the course of time. I play it every day , but rarely for cheap WOW Classic TBC Gold long periods of time, and I'm not really immersed in it yet.
