TO ME MUSIC IS A WAY OF LIFE, A WAY TO EXPRESS MYSELF. WHEN I GET IN THE STUDIO AND THAT MIC IS IN FRONT OF ME IT'S LIKE NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT YOU KNOW. I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING JUDGED BECAUSE MY EXPRESSION OVER A BEAT SAYS IT ALL...I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FREESTYLING THING SINCE I WAZ 9 AND MY VERBALIZATION SKILLS ARE JUST LIKE WINE THEY'VE GOTTEN BETTER OVER TIME ..I'VE BEEN AROUND SO MANY RAPPERS WHO SIT AROUND HOPING TO ONE DAY GET A HAND OUT..AS IF EVERYTHING N THE WORLD IS GIVEN TO YOU.. NOT UNDERSTANDING YOU FIRST HAVE TO HELP YOURSELF AND THATS WERE I COME IN.. ......Im actually the person that I say I am. I will never deliver a song and leave people to say, "Ive never known her to do that." Ive been through it all and im at the bottom now so there is no where else to go but up. I can recall skipping schoool in order to attend freestyle battles in Montgomery. . Now here I am recently out of the Army and working harder and harder on my music. In order to be recognized in Tennessee, which is my home now. ............. ................................. .................................. .................................. Society today I feel is not yet ready for someone as lyrical and as real as me. See I know that because of my sexuality that in some places of the world my music will not be accepted. People will think im trying to turn the whole world like me. When in reality Im just doing what I love best which is expressing myself over a beat. I am only human and do not wish to be placed above anyone. I live my life only wishing to one day be equal. I have a talent which at times is ignored because certain record labels dont know what to do with a lesbian rapper...no matter how good she is. Society is changing and its time for a new thing, a new style, and with new oppinions. The world of pride that im involved in goes through so much in this day in time. Something like racism.. We get criticized on a daily basis, treated like we are freaks from another planet because of the way we choose happiness. And its about time we have a voice. And I am that voice... I promise to never let my fans down, even if I never get signed I will keep making music that will continue to make you dance, relate, and take a break from this crazy world.....Always your favorite LESBIAN rapper...YOUNG BAMA...
